About Me
I am a Licensed Psychotherapist in New York State with a passion for working with 20 and 30 somethings on navigating anxiety, relational distress, OCD, fertility, and enmeshed mother/daughter relationships. I use a combination of evidence based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral and acceptance and commitment therapy to foster insight, challenge stuck beliefs about self, and instill confidence, so that we can make choices and take actions that are reflective of who we want to be.
I completed my M.A. at Thomas Jefferson University, learning how to work systemically with clients. This helped me understand that all problems, to some level, are relational problems. When we can understand the greater context of our lives, we can better understand ourselves. I have done additional trainings and certifications in Advanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD/Phobias.
My clients would describe our sessions as conversational, with open ended questions meant to help you dive into yourself and how you experience the world.
I became a therapist because I saw how much therapy helped me in my life. Having a place to talk about your concerns, joys, triumphs, setbacks, and everything in between is truly unique and something I’m grateful to be a part of for my clients.
